Overview

What's new in Selena AI, newest first.

Every release, newest first. Each entry says what changed, why it matters, and how to use it — nothing longer than that.

Use the rail on the right to jump to a year or a specific release; each heading also links to that release's own page.

Review a bill of materials before the quote goes out

Selena inspects a bill of materials and reports the gaps: missing parts, quantities that don't add up, and matches it isn't confident about. Attach a BOM or pick an estimate, run /analyze-bom, then accept or reject each finding.

added

Put a Selena assistant in your own application

Selena's chat is available as an API with OAuth credentials, so your application can authenticate members of the Selena organization that registered it, pass along the record a user has open, and render the answer in its own interface. Register an application in Dashboard → OAuth Apps to get credentials — the endpoint reference isn't published yet, so ask in the Discord before building against it.

improved

Sharper sales answers, fewer interruptions

Sales questions land better

Pipeline and account questions route more accurately, and follow-ups keep their context, so you aren't rephrasing the same question twice.

Fewer interruptions

Sign-in refresh and error handling are more resilient, and errors explain themselves. Nothing to do — it applies automatically.

See where your Selena usage goes

Usage you can account for

Usage reporting breaks activity out by organization and by workflow, so admins can see what's being adopted and what it costs rather than one lump figure. Open Dashboard → Analytics.

Problems get caught sooner

Selena reports far more about its own performance and failures, so slowdowns are found and fixed before you have to report them.

improved

More of your business data, kept per organization

Selena reaches more of your connected system — estimates, contacts, materials, and projects — and separation between organizations was tightened across chat, workflows, and billing at the same time. If you belong to several organizations, none of them can see another's work.

added

Selena's first four capabilities

Sales insights

Ask about your sales data, including workbooks you upload, and get follow-ups answered from the same analysis instead of a fresh upload.

Scopes of work

Selena drafts a scope of work from the estimate and project you already have, rather than last job's copy edited by hand.

Cover letters

A customer-facing cover letter written from the estimate behind the proposal, so nobody rewrites the opening each time.

Notes

Meeting and site-visit notes become structured records attached to the right account and contact, searchable later instead of stranded in a notebook.
